When Nothing Makes Sense, Just Keep Trusting God

Their world felt small and dark. They could smell the fear and feel the sadness as they looked around. No one said anything. All their hopes and dreams had come crashing down in such a few short hours. None of it made sense, and the knot in their stomach seemed as big as a melon. Down deep in their hearts, they knew God was in control, even in this situation, but they just could not see how.

When nothing makes sense, it is natural for the mind to question and to continue pondering the situation with no resolution. For two days, they all pondered and barely spoke. It seemed that the only thing to do was to survive.

As first rays of morning peered over the horizon, the ecstatic ladies stood in the doorway crying out, “Come, you have to see this for yourselves. It will all make sense if you just come.”

What did not make sense one day made perfect sense now, for God had a plan all along. Jesus had risen, just like He said he would!

You and I find ourselves in situations once in a while that just do not make any sense. When we do, we must remember that God is in control. He does have a plan, and His plan is best. One person said it this way, “When you cannot see the hand of God, you can always trust His heart”. So, let me encourage you to keep on trusting God no matter what.
