Choose Your Attitude Wisely
We all have a choice in our attitude. While it is true that we cannot choose our circumstances, we can choose how we will respond to them. Victor Frankl, a German Jewish doctor, was senselessly tormented over and over again by the Nazi secret police during World War II. They stripped him of all his clothes and possessions. They shaved his head and repeatedly questioned him under bright lights for hours.
In his hour of being broken down to nothing, he realized that they could take everything away from him but one thing. He would always have a choice in his attitude. He stated, “I still had the power to choose my own attitude - bitterness or forgiveness, to give up or to go on.”
How true that is. No matter what comes our way, we have the choice of how we will respond. Remember, your attitude is your choice so choose your attitude wisely.
