"You Alone Choose Your Attitude."

You alone have the power to choose your attitude. No matter what happens to you in any situation, your attitude is your choice. Dr. Samuel Shoemaker told the story of an elderly woman who was knocked down by a tire that flew off of a passing truck. When the tire hit her, it left her with a broken hip and confined to a bed in a small room for the rest of her days. She could have become bitter or impatient with her circumstances, but she chose the opposite. When Dr. Shoemaker stood by her in the hospital, she looked up from her bed in intense pain, and said with a beautiful smile on her face, “Well, I wonder what God has for me to do here.” She had chosen a wonderful positive attitude.

Yes, you alone have the power to choose your attitude. No matter what happens to you in any situation, your attitude is your choice. Your attitude is more important than: facts, circumstances, what others say, your past, your education, or money, and you have a choice in what your attitude will be. Let me encourage you to choose your attitude wisely because it is yours and yours alone to choose.
